Terms of Service
1. Scope
These Terms of Service (ToS) apply to the use of the screenit.app platform (hereinafter "Platform" or "screenit.app") as well as to all services and subscriptions offered through the platform.
2. Registration and Account
To use the platform fully, registration is required. The user undertakes to provide truthful and complete information when registering. The user is responsible for keeping their access credentials confidential and not sharing them with third parties.
3. Subscription Plans
screenit.app offers the following paid subscription plans:
Premium (monthly)
The Premium plan offers enhanced features and increased storage capacity. The subscription is billed monthly and automatically renews for another month unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
Pro (monthly)
The Pro plan offers all Premium features as well as additional professional tools and unlimited storage capacity. The subscription is billed monthly and automatically renews for another month unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

4. Payment Terms
Subscription fees are paid monthly in advance by the user. We use Stripe as our payment service provider.
The user authorizes Stripe to collect the due fees from the specified payment method. Chargebacks or unpaid payments will be invoiced to the user.
5. Cancellation
The subscription can be cancelled at any time with one month's notice at the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation can be made independently via the Billing Portal in the user account. A written cancellation is not required.
After effective cancellation, the user continues to have access to the paid functions until the end of the current billing period.
6. Usage Rights and Obligations
The user may only use the platform for legal purposes. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- Upload or distribute illegal, defamatory or offensive content
- Upload copyrighted content without permission
- Use the platform to distribute malware, viruses or other harmful software
- Use automated scripts or bots to manipulate the platform
- Endanger or undermine the security of the platform
7. User Content
The user remains the sole owner of all rights to the content they upload. By uploading content, the user grants screenit.app the non-exclusive, worldwide right to provide this content and use it for the operation of the platform.
screenit.app assumes no liability for content uploaded by users. The user indemnifies screenit.app against all claims by third parties resulting from the infringement of their rights through the user's content.
8. Liability of screenit.app
screenit.app is liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. In case of slight negligence, screenit.app is only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations).
Liability for slight negligence is limited to the typically foreseeable damage. Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages or lost profits is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Data Protection
screenit.app collects, processes and uses the user's personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the privacy policy, which can be viewed at /privacy.
10. Changes to the ToS
screenit.app reserves the right to change these ToS at any time with effect for the future. Changes will be communicated to the user by publication on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes to the ToS constitutes acceptance of the changed terms.
11. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these ToS be invalid or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. In place of the invalid provision, a valid provision shall apply that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
